For Taste and See with Brown and Crouppen, we just had to check out a Kansas City classic. After moving to Kansas City, Michael Garozzo opened the doors to his first restaurant in the historic Italian neighborhood, Columbus Park in 1989. Garozzo’s quickly became well-known as the originators of their signature dish, Chicken Spiedini, which has become a Kansas City staple, “often imitated, never duplicated.” We founded out how they adjusted their business model and menu during this time.
