Daily ways you can be green at home

Posted

They are working to educate on opportunities available with clean energy and how each one of us can help reduce our carbon footprint. Kim Noble and Kerene Taylor, of Green For All advance solutions that bring clean energy, green jobs, and opportunities to the poorest, and most polluted communities in the country. But what can we do at home?

 Daily ways to be green:

  • Use reusable bags instead of plastic when you go to the grocery store
  • Stop unwanted mail: Save natural resources by opting out from billions of unwanted mailings and simplify your life.
  • Unplug devices when not in use: Most of the electronic devices keep on drawing electricity even when they’re off.
  •  Reduce your water usage: Practice taking short and times showers, washing dishes in a sink of water and then rinsing them and cutting down on the amount of laundry that you do.
