KANSAS CITY, MO — The Jones Sisters stole the season when they were on “Queer Eye,” creating a huge fanbase worldwide. KCL Host Kelly recently went to Jones Bar-B-Q for a segment of “Kelly Can Do It,” but today Deborah, aka “Little,” and Mary, aka “Shorty,” join her in the KCL kitchen with delicious holiday BBQ recipes and their new rub.
Burnt End Burrito
Ingredients:
1 10-inch flour tortilla
8 oz. brisket
1 – 2 tbsp. Jones Bar-B-Q rub
Toppings:
2 tbsp. Green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. Onion, chopped
1/4 cup Shredded cheese
1/4 cup Baked beans (optional)
Steps:
Season brisket with Jones Bar-B-Q rub
Smoke brisket until well cooked
Once brisket is cooked, chop the burnt end of the brisket to get burnt ends and set aside
Place flour tortilla on grill until it is lightly browned, or brown it in the skillet with a little butter
Once flour tortilla is lightly browned, add burnt end meat and add the toppings
Fold in opposite sides of each tortilla, then roll up, burrito style. Place, seam-sides down, in prepared dish.
