Where else have you worked?
My first job out of college was at the ABC and FOX affiliate in Midland-Odessa, Texas! I am forever grateful for the small West Texas town that took a chance on me.
Where did you go to college?
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I-L-L!
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
My approach to journalism: accuracy, fairness, and compassion. I never take for granted the level of trust and vulnerability people share with me daily.
What are you most proud of in your own life?
My faith in God, my roots, and all the strong relationships I have built along the way.
What do you love about living in the KC area?
It is such a fun time to be in KC and grow with the city! I love the pride people have for their hometown, the bustling restaurant scene, the jazz, and the friendly locals.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
Since moving to KC, I am proud to say I have become a lifelong Chiefs fan. GEHA Field at Arrowhead is certainly a happy place.
I also LOVE the arts, so you will often find me at Broadway shows, the ballet, art museums and the symphony. On my weekends, I am exploring a new neighborhood by foot or hiking a local trail with a latte in hand!
