Andrew Potter served as a captain in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
During his third tour in Afghanistan, in the rare quiet moment, Andrew would look at the cliffs surrounding the battlefield and imagine climbing them. He had been rock climbing ever since he was just a kid.
Now, Andrew has a new mission.
He has turned an old tank factory north of the river, 15th and Howell Street, into a rock climbing heaven.

RoKC opened this past weekend and the response was amazing. Hundreds of people, at every skill level, came through the doors.
There are routes for every ability…even an old, gray, paunchy TV guy can make his way up the wall.

This is a unique workout that is perfect for everybody. In addition to the actual physical activity, Andrew says this is a way to continue to teach, as he did in the Army.
