Lisa McCormick joined the KSHB I-Team in March 2021. She is an award-winning journalist, whose stories have appeared on television, in newspapers, magazines, and online publications. Throughout her career, Lisa’s investigations have exposed wrongdoing, prompted the recall of dangerous products, and changed state laws. Her stories have won numerous awards, including two Edward R. Murrow Awards, four Emmy Awards, and the prestigious Investigative Reporters and Editors Award for outstanding investigative reporting. She has also worked as an economic crime investigator for the Johnson County, Kansas, District Attorney Office and as a press aide for a former Missouri Attorney General. Lisa has written 18 children's books that include such titles as "Mothman," "Marie Curie," and "Albert Einstein." Lisa is a proud Kansas City native and graduate of Park University. She and her husband have two children and two dogs.
