How do you connect with your Hispanic/Latinx culture?
I represent Latinx/Hispanic cultural interests in health, education, and citizenship as well as other American values in the Kansas Legislature.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Going to Fairyland Park on the 4th of July with extended family.
What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you?
A celebration of my ancestors and our values that they brought from Mexico and flourished here in the United States. Demonstrating the cultural interests and how they have added to the overall value of America!
In your opinion, what is the most important issue facing the Hispanic/Latinx community?
The ability to cast a vote, this is the most important election in my lifetime and failure is not an option to administer a positive change in the United States!
