What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I’ve been blessed to win nine Emmys in my time in Kansas City, as well as the Docking Award for high school sports reporting. I’m also proud of my social media following and will be even prouder when I pass Gary Lezak for followers!
What are you most proud of in your own life?
I’m, of course, proud of my three children and all that they do. I’m also proud the once-a-decade Oklahoma State does anything significant in athletics.
What do you love about living in the KC area?
I love KC for being a big city, but having a small-town feel. I love that it’s a sports-crazed town. I love that the people here are so kind and considerate. I love that it’s close enough to my hometown of Caldwell, Kansas.
