KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Unified Government Public Health Department said Wednesday that a total of 15 people have now died at the River Bend Post-Acute Rehabilitation Facility in Kansas City, Kansas, due to COVID-19.
According to data from the health department, 92 residents at the facility have tested positive so far, with 24 staff members testing positive.
Nine residents have been hospitalized.
The center has become one of the highest concentrations of the COVID-19-related cases and deaths in Kansas.
