KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A solider assigned to Fort Leavenworth has tested positive for COVID-19, officials said Friday.
According to a news release, the solider had returned to their hometown following overseas travel when they started to develop symptoms.
The soldier sought treatment — and a COVID-19 test — at a hospital.
The test later came back positive, and the soldier remains in quarantine.
Fort Leavenworth officials say they continue to monitor the situation.
