KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jackson County has amended its stay-at-home order to “achieve more consistency with regional partners.”
The county stated in a series of tweets Wednesday night that gyms and fitness centers will be able to open on May 18 “with occupancy limits.”
Additionally, religious institutions and nonessential businesses will have the same occupancy limits.

“The Health Department encourages the use of drive-in and online services whenever possible, especially for high risk populations,” the tweet stated.
Revised documents are expected to be released on Thursday.
