KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, officials say six cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the city, an increase from the two cases reported on Wednesday.
Late Thursday afternoon, the KCMO Health Department said the six patients, three men and three women, are all recovering at home.
The patients range in age from their 30s to their 60s.
The KCMO Health Department said officials are working to contact those who may have been exposed to the virus.
KCMO had not reported any cases of COVID-19 until Wednesday, when the Health Department said two people had tested positive.
