Kansas expects to receive 23,400 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas is set to receive more than 23,000 doses of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine this week

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced on Monday it should receive 23,400 doses of the third vaccine created in the past year to fight the virus.

It’s unknown at this time how those doses will be distributed among counties.

Missouri announced on Sunday that it expects to receive 50,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
