KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kenny Chesney fans might not like the sound of this. The country music star is postponing his "Chillaxification" tour until 2021 due to the uncertainty with COVID-19.
His tour included a stop at Arrowhead Stadium on July 11th and was going to feature Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Michael Franti & Spearhead.
Chesney tweeted the decision saying "In times of uncertainty, I won't take chances with those I love". His team says after discussing things, they could not figure out a way to make the tour a reality while keeping people safe.
Chesney says new dates for the tour will be coming soon. Tickets you already purchased can be used for the new date. Refunds will also be available for 30 days after the new date is announced.
