KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Liberty High School closed down a single classroom after possible multiple COVID-19 exposures.
In a letter to families, principal April Adams said the classroom will be shut down through Tuesday “out of an abundance of caution.”
Adams stressed that the closure impacted only one classroom, where students were confined to the space all day.
No additional students in the school would have been exposed, Adams said, and families who were affected have already been notified.
“At this time, we have no indication that additional classrooms, or our school, would need to make transitions due to the pandemic,” Adams said.
