KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, continues to spread across the world, and in Missouri and Kansas.
41 Action News is keeping track of all closings and cancellations, as well as tracking where positive coronavirus cases are located.
We are also keeping track of which metro jurisdictions are under stay at home orders for the foreseeable future, only allowing for essential business and activities.

9:30 p.m. | Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly's office has "reached an agreement" in relation to the legal challenges that have been made in response to her executive orders that included banning religious gatherings of more than 10 people.
The two churches involved in a lawsuit, First Baptist Church in Dodge City and Calvary Baptist Church in Junction City, agree under the settlement to "comply with safety protocols put in place by the court," according to a statement from Kelly's office.
2:50 p.m. | The Kansas City metro now has more than 2,000 COVID-19 cases and 127 deaths. There are 2,079 cases in the metro.
In Missouri, there are 6,881 novel coronavirus cases and 282 deaths.
1 p.m. | Kansas now has 3,056 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and four new deaths statewide, bringing the total to 117, according to new data released Saturday. It's the fourth day in a row that cases have increased by more than 200.
12 p.m. | If you are on Supplemental Security Income and Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiaries, didn't file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 and have dependents, the IRS says you need to act by May 5 to get the full amount of your Economic Income Payment. The $1,200 payments will be issued soon, and in order to get the the $500 per eligible child, the IRS needs the dependent information before the payments are issued.

7:45 a.m. | The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has added six new symptoms of COVID-19 on their website. In addition to fever, cough and shortness of breath, the CDC says you should also look out for chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell.
7:00 a.m. | The Overland Park Farmers Market will open today with some changes due to coronavirus. The market has relocated to the parking lot of the Overland Park Convention Center, to allow for a drive-thru style of shopping. The market starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m.
