KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, continues to spread across the world, and in Missouri and Kansas.
41 Action News is keeping track of all closings and cancellations, as well as tracking where positive coronavirus cases are located.
We are also keeping track of which metro jurisdictions are under stay at home orders for the foreseeable future, only allowing for essential business and activities.

5:02 p.m. | A fourth person has died from COVID-19 in Jackson County, Missouri, bringing the total number of fatalities in Missouri to 47.
In the greater Kansas City area on both sides of the state line, 22 people have died from the virus.
1:35 p.m. | The Kansas Department of Health and Environment released new numbers Sunday afternoon showing the number of cases in the state had risen to 756.
Twenty-two people have died from COVID-19 in Kansas, including an eighth person in Johnson County, the health department announced.
11:00 am | A 250 bed Federal Medical Station is being deployed to San Diego County in California to assist with their COVID-19 response.
10:55 a.m. | Wyandotte County is now reporting 161 positive COVID-19 cases, while Cass County is reporting one more positive case for COVID-19, bringing the county total to 23.
7:30 a.m. |The Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health Department says the Outdoor Aquatic Center will have their showers open at designated times for showers and hand washing of clothes.
