KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Local grocery stores are changing their hours because of COVID-19.
Updated daily hours for regular shoppers:
- Aldi: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some stores may have limited hours to allow for cleaning.
- Ball's Red Bridge Sun Fresh: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Cosentino's Price Chopper: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Dollar General: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Ball's Price Chopper locations (except two): 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the first hour is recommended for elderly and disabled customers)
- Ball's Price Choppers (8430 Wornall Road and 9550 Blue Ridge Blvd.): 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the first hour is recommended for elderly and disabled customers)
- All Ball's Hen House Markets: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the first hour is recommended for elderly and disabled customers)
- Hy-Vee: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Pay Less Discount Foods in Olathe: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the first hour is recommended for elderly and disabled customers)
- Sam’s Club: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pickup is available beginning at 7 a.m.
- Sun Fresh: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the first hour is recommended for elderly and disabled customers)
- Target: 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Trader Joe’s: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Walmart (includes Neighborhood Markets): 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Whole Foods: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Only those people who are most prone to contracting critical cases of the novel coronavirus are allowed in the stores during those hours.
They are also closing early to allow employees to deep clean the stores.
Special shopping hours for older and compromised shoppers.
