KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three more Mid-Continent Public Library branches are now closed due to possible COVID-19 exposures.

MCPL said in a tweet Sunday afternoon that the Grain Valley, Oak Grove and Blue Springs North will be closed “until further notice.”

This brings the total number of COVID-19-affected branches to 10.

All of the library system’s locations had been shut down for an “extended Thanksgiving break." Before that, MCPL had shifted to only curbside and drive-up services.

More information about MCPL’s COVID-19 precautions and its current services can be found on the MCPL website.
