KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missourians interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine can now sign up through a recently announced statewide “vaccine navigator.”
Though it has been active since at least Thursday, Gov. Mike Parson officially announced the program on Monday.
The Missouri Vaccine Navigator “allows individuals to register for a vaccine, indicating their desire to be vaccinated,” according to a statement from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
Users also will complete a series of questions to determine where they fall in the state’s vaccination phases.
“Registrants will be notified upon activation of each phase and alerted when they become eligible,” the statement said. “Individuals will then be able to seek vaccination from their health care provider if they have vaccines available or view mass vaccination events and other providers in their area.”
