KANSAS CITY, Mo. — At least three long-term care facilities in Wyandotte County are being monitored by health officials as COVID-19 clusters.
In addition to the Riverbend acute care rehabilitation facility, where 28 people have died and 128 residents and staff have tested positive for COVID-19, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas’s Health Department is monitoring two other facilities.
In a tweet Friday afternoon, the department announced that 16 residents and two employees have tested positive at the Delaware Highlands assisted living facility, and two residents and two staff tested positive at the Life Care Center of Kansas City.
