KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Overland Park Mayor Carl Gerlach issued a challenge to other Kansas City-area mayors Thursday morning.
The mayor posted a video saying he had just made his donation to the Kansas City Regional COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.
The donation was made on the One KC day of digital giving, which is being sponsored by local media outlets.
All donations made to the fund stay local and support those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayor Gerlach challenged other mayors to participate in the day of giving and make their donations.
