KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The driver's license office in Overland Park closed Tuesday after a suspected case of COVID-19, according to the Kansas Department of Revenue.

The office at 7600 W. 119th St., Suite D, will be closed while it follows cleaning guidelines set by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Appointments at the office are being rescheduled. It’s expected to reopen on Thursday, Nov. 12.

Kansans can still renew their driver’s licenses through the mobile iKan app, available on the Apple and Google Play stores, as well as online at iKan.ks.gov.

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly also issued an executive order extending the expiration dates for driver’s licenses and identification cards until Jan. 26, 2021, because of the pandemic.
