KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Platte County has its first confirmed case of COVID-19.

No information was available on the person’s age or gender.

The county also has issued a stay-at-home order that goes into effect Tuesday through at least April 24.

Editor's note: A mobile push alert sent regarding this story included an incorrect headline. It should have referenced the first "cases" of COVID-19 in Clay and Platte counties.
