KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Prairie Village City Council voted, 10-1, on Monday to approve indoor masking, with amendments.
One amendment states that masking will not be required if “there is reasonable proof everyone is vaccinated,” according to a city spokesperson.
Earlier this month, Councilwoman Jori Nelson called for city staff to draft an ordinance mandating masks indoors.
The ordinance included certain exceptions for private businesses and religious ceremonies.
