KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Raymore-Peculiar School District announced Friday that a support staff employee at Creekmoor Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19.
The employee and anyone determined to have been in contact with them will have to quarantine and follow testing procedures before returning to work.
The Raymore-Peculiar School District is set to begin classes on Monday with some students attending virtually and some in person.
About 20 percent of the district’s 6,300 students will be taking online courses through the district’s brand new virtual school called VIPR: Virtual Instruction Program of Ray-Pec.
The district did not say if other staff members will be asked to quarantine.
