KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Saint Luke’s Health System has launched two COVID-19 drive-thru testing sites for patients and employees, with plans to have a third site in place soon.

The sites are appointment-only and available for patients and employees who have been referred by Saint Luke’s physicians, the health system said in a news release.

The open testing sites are located in Blue Springs and Shoal Creek in Kansas City’s Northland. The third site, which has not yet opened, will be located at Mission Farms in Overland Park.

Patients and employees must meet certain criteria to be eligible for the testing, which include:

  • A fever of 100 degrees or higher, a new cough or shortness of breath, and;
  • Patients who are immunocompromised, have been exposed to someone with known or suspected COVID-19; or
  • Those who work in a health care setting.

Saint Luke’s says those with symptoms of COVID-19 but no additional risk factors should self-isolate for 14 days and limit contact with other members of the household. If symptoms worsen, contact your health care provider.
