KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Saturday, Mayor Lyda Krewson and County Executive Dr. Sam Page announced in a news release that St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis will adopt new restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Effective Monday, restrictions will require people to stay at home when possible, but people will be allowed to go out for basic needs and essentials.

Residents will still be able to go to the grocery store, pharmacy, and take walks in the park.

More details will be available this afternoon.
