KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man is dead after a shooting near the intersection of 57th and South Benton.
Police said they were called to the residential area just after 10 p.m., and found a man, later identified as 30-year-old Demetrius Jackson, suffering from gunshot wounds.
EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced Jackson dead.
Police said detectives and crime scene investigators are working to gather as much information as possible.
