KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was shot to death Monday afternoon in the 5300 block of Oak Leaf Drive, Kansas City police said.
Police responded to the shooting around 2:45 p.m.
Officials say the victim is a man in his mid-20s. He was found outside an apartment building officials believe he lived at.
The suspect was wearing all black and drove off in a dark compact vehicle.
No other details were immediately available.
