KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three people – one of them 16-years-old – were injured in a 4th of July shooting in Independence.
Police say they were called out around 8 p.m. on a shooting call in the 13000 block of E. 35th Court.
When they arrived, they located three shooting victims.
After speaking with witnesses on the scene, police took two people in to custody.
None of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening.
