KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A four-year-old is recovering after being hit by a car Tuesday afternoon in Shawnee, according to authorities.
The crash happened in the 11400 block of west 75th Street when a vehicle was heading west and hit the child.
The child was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No other details surrounding the circumstances on the crash were immediately available.
