KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A baby’s death in August was recently ruled a homicide, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
A 2-month-old was brought to Children’s Mercy Hospital on Aug. 23, police spokesman Sgt. Jake Becchina said.
The baby, identified as Jamarion Holland, died two days later.
The Jackson County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the baby’s death a homicide Nov. 12 and listed the cause of death as child abuse.
Becchina said no charges have been filed, but an investigation is ongoing.
