Bank robbery attempted at Community America in Overland Park

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — FBI agents are investigating an attempted bank robbery Friday in Overland Park.

An FBI spokesperson said agents were notified about a bank robbery Friday afternoon at the Community America branch at 5601 W. 95th Street.

The subject allegedly entered the bank and presented a note demanding cash. The subject fled the bank before the robbery was complete.

The suspect is described as a Black female between 20-30 years old, approximately 5'5" tall with a medium build.

Surveillance video shows the subject with reportedly black hair and bangs over the face and wearing a white button-down shirt and black pants.
