UPDATE: The bomb threat is now over at Kansas City International Airport. Passengers are being allowed back inside.

Authorities are investigating where the threat originated from.

"Unfortunately it doesn't change my thoughts on travel," said passenger Dan Rothrock. "I think it's become the norm that we have either bomb threats that are real or those that are fake because people want to disrupt. I don't think you should let anyone deter your normal travel needs or your normal routine. I wouldn't let that deter me."
