Man faces charges in connection to JoCo wrecks

A man faces charges in connection to multiple wrecks in Johnson County that injured multiple individuals.

Adam E. Gagnon was arrested Wednesday evening in connection to the August 2015 wrecks that happened in Overland Park and Prairie Village. 

Gagnon has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery, failure to stop, reckless driving, disobeying a traffic control device and improper driving on a lane road.

Police say Gagnon was involved in the first wreck at 95th Street and Mission Road in Prairie Village. He fled the scene, according to police.

The vehicle police believe Gagnon was in then traveled about eight blocks in Overland Park, ran a red light and struck a second vehicle on Mission Road at 103rd Street.

A man suffered what were considered life-threatening injuries. A woman was also injured. Gagnon also suffered life-threatening injuries, according to a police statement. 

Several weapons were found in the vehicle.

He is being held on a $25,000 bond.

Gagnon's first court appearance is set for Thursday in Olathe.
