KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Authorities responded around noon Tuesday to a death investigation in Independence, police said.
A body was found in the area of S. Norwood Avenue and W. Sheley Road.
Due to the state of the body, police were unable to identify the gender.
No other circumstances on the death were immediately available.
