FBI offers $10,000 reward in case investigated as part of Operation LeGend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward for information in a Kansas City, Missouri, homicide case as part of Operation LeGend.

Anyone who provides information leading to the identification and arrest of the person who killed 30-year-old Shawn Ricks could receive up to $10,000.

Ricks died when he was shot in the abdomen on July 26 near East 34th Street and Indiana Avenue.

His case is now being investigated by local and federal authorities as part of Operation LeGend.

Anyone with information on his death is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477, or submit tips online at tips.fbi.gov.

Tipsters can also contact their local FBI office, or nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
