KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A shooting Friday night killed one man on the east side of Kansas City, Missouri.
The shooting happened about 8:30 p.m. near east 35th Street and Wayne Avenue.
Police identified the victim as 23-year-old John Greer.
This marks the 105th homicide of the year, according to KCPD records.
There were 97 homicides at this time last year in KCMO.
