Independence police release video of triple shooting, continue search for suspect

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Independence police released surveillance video of a triple shooting as the search for a suspect continues.

Around 4:30 p.m. on June 29, an unidentified man shot at three men outside an Independence apartment complex in the 9500 block of E. Winner Road. 

Two of the men suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A 7-year-old girl was also hit by gunfire and suffered non-life threatening injuries. 

After the shooting, the suspect fled on foot. He wore a white Nike hoodie, a dark-colored mask, red shorts and white shoes.
