KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A store owner has been found guilty months after officials found more than $75,000 in counterfeit items at her Mission, Kansas store.

So Wun Pak, the owner of Sue’s Accessories, was found guilty of felony counterfeiting.

In November, Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies raided the store. According to court documents, a local investigative agency tipped off investigators that the store was allegedly selling counterfeit items.

Investigators made four undercover purchases at the store over the course of several months. During one visit, Pak allegedly told investigators she had “direct connections with manufacturers” and got deals she wasn’t supposed to. She also claimed many of the items in her store were legitimate but also admitted much of it was not, according to court records.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 26.
