KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are investigating a shooting that critically injured a juvenile Thursday night.
The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 10400 block of East 42nd Street.
According to a KCPD spokesperson, the juvenile was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A person of interest was detained at the scene, per police.
