Kansas City police investigate after 3 teens shot on Tuesday afternoon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three teens were injured in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday afternoon.

Two of the teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries and one suffered critical injuries.

Police first responded to the area of east 83rd Street and Lydia Avenue at around 5 p.m. The call was later upgraded to a shooting.

Two of the victims were found in the 1300 block of east 82nd Terrace. The third victim was found near east 84th Street and Lydia Avenu.

All three victims were transported to an area hospital.

Police initially said that all three teens had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
