KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are investigating a shooting that injured an adult, a teenager and a child on Monday night.

Around 9:42 p.m. Monday, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to the scene of the Kansas City Fire Department station at 3211 Indiana Ave. after a shooting victim reportedly walked into the station.

Police identified a teenage male victim who said he was in the area when a vehicle drove by and fired gunshots at him, striking him in "the lower extremity," according to KCPD.

Officers then identified additional shooting victims in the 3300 block of Indiana, where a woman and boy under the age of 10, were located with injuries. The woman told police she was at the bus stop at Linwood and Indiana when she heard gunshots and felt pain in her leg.
