The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting at 66th and Monroe.
Kansas City police said at 10:24 a.m., officers responded to the 6600 block of Monroe on a shooting call. When officers arrived, they found a victim had been shot. Kansas City Fire Department personnel transported the victim to the hospital, where the victim died from their injury.
