Kansas City police investigate after finding man shot to death inside home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are investigating a shooting that killed a man on Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 4800 block of E 40th Terrace at around 1:49 p.m.

Officers first responded to the area on reports of gunshots.

While responding, the call was upgraded to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located Sir Raheem Knox, 26, inside a home in the area suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
