UPDATE, Dec. 3, 2:49 p.m. | Police identified the victim as Isaiah D. Abraham-Brown, 19. Detectives continue to ask the public to share any information about the incident.
ORIGINAL STORY | Kansas City, Missouri, police said they were called to 81st Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard on a shooting call about 1:50 a.m.
The caller advised he and another adult man were in a vehicle northbound on Blue Ridge Boulevard near 87th Street when shots were fired into their vehicle from another vehicle.
One of the men was struck by gunfire.
The driver called 911 and continued to 81st Street where he pulled over to get help.
Officers said the victim died at the scene.
Detectives are canvassing the area looking for witnesses and evidence.
