The suspect in a fatal shooting is dead after Kansas City, Missouri, police searched for him on Friday afternoon.
Belton police said the suspect, 42-year-old Shawn Fuller, of KCMO, shot and killed his estranged wife, 41-year-old Tina Fuller, of Raymore, at a strip mall near the 700 block of Highway 58.
Shawn Fuller was then reportedly involved in a car chase with police that went through Kansas City, Missouri, and ended when he crashed his SUV into a pole on 85th Street. He ran with a gun down 86th Terrace to a nearby pond.
Officers barricaded off all traffic to the area as they searched. They eventually found his body, saying he took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
