KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri, woman has been charged with murder in two cases.

Francesca A. Hernandez, 32, faces the charges in Jackson and Clay counties.

The first murder occurred on March 31. Hernandez met the victim, Travis Stamper, 38, over a chat service, she told police.

Hernandez said she and another woman planned to rob Stamper, according to a court document.

Stamper was shot as he walked away from his truck to look at construction materials near Northeast 46th Terrace and North Corrington Avenue.

Hernandez, according to documents, blamed the killing on another woman who has not been found.

The second murder occurred April 17 in the parking lot of a Blue Springs Walmart at 600 N.E. Coronado Drive.

Blue Springs Police found Wayne Tindell dead from a gunshot wound in his trailer, according to a court document.

A man who was inside Tindell's trailer with Tindle and Hernandez said he left before the shooting.

Kansas City, Missouri, police stopped Hernandez on April 21 and found Tindell's wallet in the car.

Hernandez also faces other charges in addition to the murder charges.
