KCK police identify city's 46th homicide victim of 2020

UPDATE, Oct. 27 | Police have identified the victim of this homicide as Lolita Day-Copes, 45, of Kansas City, Kansas.

EARLIER | Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home Monday afternoon.

Police responded around 3:43 p.m. to the 900 block of Reynolds Avenue after family members reported finding their relative deceased.

Officers located a woman in her 30s in the home. It appears foul play was involved, according to KCKPD.

The death still is under investigation.

This is the 46th homicide of 2020 in KCK.
